Age Requirements

• To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by August 31
• To be eligible for Pre-kindergarten, a child must be 4 years old by August 31 and fully toilet trained
• To be eligible for Preschool, the child must be 3 years old by August 31 and fully toilet trained

Process

How to Apply

• Call the school office at 617-933-9230 or complete the inquiry form to schedule a tour.
• Complete the Application here.
• February through May - Applications for the following school year are accepted for new and transfer students.
• Summer - Applications will continue to be accepted for any grade where open spaces remain. For full classes, students will be placed on a wait list and families will be contacted if a space becomes available.
• Enroll in FACTS, the tuition management program mandated by the Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Boston.

Items to be Submitted with the Application

• $300 non-refundable tuition deposit to hold the space paid by check or in cash (includes $100 processing fee and $200 to be applied to first tuition payment).
• Birth Certificate.
• Immunization Record.
• Baptismal Certificate (if applicable).
• Request to transfer records (for transfer students).

Admission Priority

The school gives preference in admission to students in the following order:

• Siblings of IC students.
• Catholic children living within city boundaries.
• Catholic children living outside of city boundaries.
• Non-Catholic children.

Assessments

During the summer, applicants for grades 2-8 are scheduled for an assessment to ensure student readiness and appropriate grade level placement. A parent and/or student interview with the Principal may be requested.
